Custom Workshop & Storage Building Builders in Ohio
Purpose-built workshop and storage buildings designed around how you work and what you store. Tall clear-span interiors, controlled access, and options for insulation, power, and lighting.
Workshops & Storage Buildings Built Around Your Property
When a generic shed isn't enough, a post-frame workshop or storage building gives you a real workspace. Post-frame construction delivers wide, open interiors without support posts in the way, so you can set up benches, machinery, and storage along the walls and still move freely. We build workshops for hobbyists, small businesses, and property owners who need secure, organized space in Ohio.
These buildings are designed around your workflow. We plan door widths for moving materials in and out, window placement for natural light, and electrical and insulation provisions so the space is usable year-round. Because it is post-frame, you can start with a shell and add finishing later as your budget allows.

Workshops Questions Answered
Can I run a small business out of a post-frame workshop?
Many owners do. A post-frame building works well for trade storage, fabrication, and home-based businesses. If the use is commercial, permit and code requirements may differ, so mention your intended use when requesting a quote.
Can the workshop be insulated and heated?
Yes. We can add a condensation barrier plus batt or spray insulation and frame for a conditioned interior. Heating and cooling equipment is typically provided by your HVAC contractor — we plan the structure for it.
How much electrical work do you include?
We frame the building and can provision for electrical. Wiring, outlets, panels, and fixtures are usually added by a licensed electrician. Tell us your power needs so the structure is ready.
Can I add a mezzanine for storage?
Yes. We can engineer trusses and frame a mezzanine over part of the floor for overhead storage that preserves your working area.
What size workshop do I need?
It depends on your equipment and workflow. A 24' x 36' fits a hobby shop with bench space; a 40' x 60' accommodates machinery and material handling. We help you size it during the estimate.
Is a workshop cheaper than a garage addition?
A detached post-frame workshop is typically less expensive than a home addition because it needs no foundation wall tie-in and uses fewer materials. Finishing level is the main variable.
